clarification about mod_status

Hi readers,

for me something is unclear about mod_status. If I enable mod_status, is this per apache _server_ (for all configured vhosts, no matter on which vhost I enable the handler), or is it per _vhost_ (so that I get only status information for the vhost in which the thing is configured)?

I've enabled mine on the default virtualhost and it reports them all.
