Apache 2.4.10 on Windows 8.1

Hi All

We are trying to get apache to work on windows 8.1 - we can render HTML page from htdocs but cannot access anything in cgi-bin - we get a 504 Gateway Timeout error.

We have a plain httpd.conf file.

First guess is that the user which is running apache has insufficient
rights to execute the script.

But that would (or should?) be visible in your error.log
